Our Heritage
Craton-Roche was founded in 1998 with a clear mission: to identify, survey, and develop premium granite deposits in the State of Bahia — one of Brazil's most geologically rich regions for ornamental stone.
Over more than two decades, our team has conducted rigorous geological surveys across four distinct deposit sites, certifying substantial proved and probable reserves in compliance with Brazilian National Mining Agency (ANM) standards.
Today, Craton-Roche stands at the threshold of production — with all four deposits fully surveyed, reserves certified, and the Queimadinha deposit in Itaetê having already demonstrated its commercial viability through a successful pilot production programme.
Our Journey
Craton-Roche Mineração Ltda. is established in Maracás, Bahia, with the mission of developing premium granite deposits across the state.
Geological prospecting identifies four high-potential granite deposit areas across Bahia: Maracás, Itaetê, Ibicaraí, and Caetité.
Comprehensive surveys are conducted at all four deposits. Proved and probable reserves are formally measured, classified, and certified under ANM standards.
A pilot production programme is successfully conducted at the Queimadinha deposit in Itaetê, confirming commercial-grade quality, workability, and market potential.
All four deposits hold certified reserves totalling over 14.25 million m³ (C-R). Craton-Roche is actively seeking partners and investors to initiate full-scale production.
